The 2009 Three Towers Hike has now passed. Congratulations to all participants on what was a highly competitve event. With warm and sunny conditions, the ground was relatively firm this year.

Out of a total of 279 hikers who took part in the events, 239 finished their classification with 40 retiring. New records were also set including a new fast time for the Explorer event.

Our thanks to St John Ambulance for treating many of our hikers for various ailments. Also, thank you to the local radio amateurs who established a vital communications network for the event.
