A renaissance year. Slow and muddy under foot. Weather was kind. Dry and overcast. Maximum 12'C during day, 6'C at night.

SENIOR HIKE WINNERS - The Hobson brothers from Ascot. 13 hours 6 minutes

SENIOR HIKE (AGED 15 to 115)

The overall winning team was: Ben Hobson, Piers Hobson and Jon Hobson of Ascot. They completed the course in 13 hours and 6 minutes.
The novice trophy awared to the fastest team of all first time entrants went to Doner Gadsden, Ian Gadsden and Mark Tomlinson of Loughton Scouts (Milton Keynes). Their time was 21 hours 26 minutes.
The Isis trophy awared to the fastest all female team went to Rachel Hobbs, Charlotte Fuller and Louise Powell of team Three Fit Ladies , 79th Reading Endeavour VSU. Two of the team managed checkpoint 12 - a distance of 38 miles (61 km).
The Veterans' trophy awared to the fastest team of oldies (sum of team age 100 or more) went to  
The Thameside trophy awared to the fastest team consisting of members of Reading Central Scout District went to  
The Pang trophy awared to the fastest team consisting of members of Pang Valley Scout District went to:  
The Outsider trophy awared to the fastest team consisting of members not in Reading Central or Pang Valley Scout Districts went to: Hobson's Choice from Ascot. They were also the overall winners/
The Loner trophy awared to the fastest individual not completing with their original team went to: Lindsay Askew who completed the course in a time of 15 hours and 6 minutes.

JUNIOR HIKE (AGED 12 to 16)

The overall winning team was:

Amedia Moores, Oliver Lax and Katie Robertson of Cool Centurions I team - 79th Reading Centurions.They completed the junior hike in 5 hours and 25 minutes.
